Robots and Tasers

there is one thing that distresses me to death. the TASER.

This is just one of many articles discussing this weapon "nonlethal" used in the states instead of a baton. And to think that the united nations has called it an instrument of torture .

We hope that here in Italy the taser never come. For those interested, here is more news about it.

Even robots, lately, I bring a little anxiety.

On this article we talk about a military robot that has "acted" in a chilling thought. reminds me of a very ugly scene of robocop 1.

Finally, today I saw this video of a robot that can walk in a natural way even on a slippery surface (and not only).

I get the feeling that in one / two generations to the terminator scenario will not be so fantascentifico. Urgh. :/
