one + one = many
Today I noticed that the number of days of my birthday coincides with my bDiario. Only now he has scored two in four months and I'm going to do with the last two in front!
this post is to thank all the readers of the site. those frequent and sporadic ones. random ones. relatives: the ones I read but do not say and those who would read me but they are still capable. friends: but especially those close ones away. teammates, both those that are both presumed. strangers. bots and spammers. the people I hurt and those who have hurt me (which usually coincide). those suffering from the cold like me, try and come here only because "cold urticaria".
but above all I want to thank the "family" playitusa , as it is called alex. a bunch of mad, passionate and passionate born pollutants. I never saw his face, but in one way or another share something with me for three years now.
thanks to all those who have a passion for something, and express it healthily and immoderately. so much that it is often labeled by others.
possessed.
lephio.org updated!
I finally finished migrating to new server!
lephio.org's mascot (the cacchetta of Arale!), as you can see from the photo above, has made the jump from the old server to new server hp flaming Great deals on what you bought months ago.
I will not describe all the technical features of lephioweb2, but the quantum leap from the poor K6-2 is at least embarrassing. Suffice to say that half of the investment has been virtually ram! (4GB). All web applications are already benificiando upgrade, but in addition to the blog itself, it is mainly ilforum and photo galleries to enjoy better performance. The latter, in fact, is now navigable without waiting for images to load.
From the software point of view, I could only stay with a pure debian. I then installed a fresh Debian Etch, updated, after a few seconds of indecision, the Sid repository.
The legendary lephioweb , however, has not yet retired altogether. The mailserver, and especially the delicate icecast2, which houses Radio Play.it , remain still for a little good-old-on the server.
And then .. I did not feel right not to make him the second year of life online .. :)
lephioweb2 boxed and ready to transport!
the new server ready to undermine the old one.
Virtual reality
I passed here in the shop and looking at the server, I realized that every day there is someone that slips over the zeros and ones in HIS contained inside the computer that I have before my eyes. I seem to see them. The forum, the gallery, the bDiario ..
I made a photo .. maybe able to see you too!
gallery and lightbox
the 'other day I installed the plugin WPG2 who support lightbox . I hope that someone has noticed that the sidebar is now random image taken from the gallery. The effect "Lightbox" (see photo) is very intriguing, but does not convince me to upload the photos .. to me every time some problem .. What do you think?
the random was magnanimous and gave me back
the mythical "power tractor" castellamonte!
I'm going down down down down ..
[Known song of the famous girlband
Italian known as "lollipop"]
after 4 months' continuous service, the poor "LephioWeb" began to show signs of slowing down .. Thursday began to complain of the first badblock, pulling down the web service.
(Not that it could bring down the eggdrop (IRC service), who does not shit anyone?)
While you've got here nice open (so for 4 months .. not that I opened today) we see that it has inside:
- 1) Case: CHL houses a mythical "than that I rode when I was selling assembled PCs to our friends" [mask with fake floppy, and marked, "fool! You can not enter here!"]
- 2) Power:'s written on "Gini" .. uh ..
- 3) CD player: a Aopen 52x, migrated from the PC store when I bought the dvd mast
- 4) Recorder: the legendary, unique, awesome Yamaha 4x4x16. Strictly SCSI. Paid at the time an absurd figure (type 900 thousand pounds), of which however I partially rebuilt, selling burned CDs (I was the only one with a burner between the people who knew!)
- 5) Floppy, NIC and video card: anonymous any crappy (though the sk.video has RCA video output ..)
- 6) HD 1: the legendary IBM SCSI UW 34560 (or something) 4 gigs or so. Was paired with the burner. Having the SCSI architecture was great reason to boast. And above all, great savings of frequent burning cd [is he who is pulling the bucket .. sigh sob!]
- 7) HD 2: an IBM almost identical (but with 2 gigs) pervenutomi in his hands during one of the raids innumerebili Marc
- 8) Hd dangling: desktar an IBM 60-GB, 7200 rpm. twin brother of my first raid. ATA100 mirrored, that nothing is served when partition magic (the devil) took me a partition of about 20GB of mp3
- 9) On her mother: an Asus P5A-B. uhm .. having to shoot at random, I would say that I might have taken "on consignment" to my cousin Matthew .. Needless to say, nobody wanted it .. (Hihihihi..)
- 10) Processor: aaaah! The Mythical K6-2 500 mhz! a real gem. In my opinion, were the K6-2 to give the first impetus to AMD's success. For the same price of an intel, you carried home LEAST fifty more Megaherz [Mica cocks!]
It seems to me the least honor my grinder with a fine portrait: (The one on the right is an insignificant servers often do not even get it started .. maybe the vampire ietsticazzi)
Well .. we now see to migrate the data onto another disk, before the plague of badblocks (NO G8) run rampant on the turntables instead. [Read: provided further down the temporary site]
ps. I forgot the core architecture SCSI .. the controller Adaptec2940UW .. joys and sorrows!
* Cat
Asterisk cat. Worthy baptism for this blog, which comes quite by accident today. There were a few months I thought of pulling on a webDiario .. I was thinking more like a blog, where only post-it-and for myself. Then I changed my mind, and here's the hole lèphio (pronounced with the "is" open and "f" on the "ph").
Always-and-for myself, but visible to all. [Or almost?]
