Yes, today is the tenth anniversary of the 'last update of the home page of my site first!
Spaceballs: The site! <- my site is this one here
I must say I am very proud! Spaceballs was one of my films and my favorite little cousin (oh yes .. he is shit !) Titian we have always enjoyed watching him and riguardalo as much as we could. As soon as the technology has made it possible, we connected the VCR to the PC, to finally have on file the beats of our favorites !
The mp3 format was born, and it was so widespread that I had just preceded a nice "do not know how to listen to MP3 files??" to a clearly visible link to winamp . It was really amazing to put everything in a matter of quell'audio kb!
The graphics are really bad, also because I persisted in writing EVERYTHING with notepad. Yes, every line, every single character of the site I typed with my fingers! I learned html through this site and thanks to very kind "Wolfgang", creator of the site on Frankenstein Jr. , who patiently gave me the email straight when I had problems . (Clearly at night, in time slot at reduced rates with 28.8k. Recuperavo We'll just sleep at school .. hehe ..)
The funniest thing was the "form". Almost every day I received compliments and suggestions Contact. Obviously contorniates always by quotations and votes for the contest "vote for your favorite character" (whose results will aggiornavo hand).
Then things of life have made me lay aside this project, but were lucky enough to have placed all on geocities ( as it was in 99 ), then bought by Yahoo ( as it was in 99 ), has led to my site is still there, alive and well (except counters and form ..)!
Furthermore, my jewel has been an inspiration to a few years ago that Gini has done a superb job, creating a new site his (spaceballs.it) dedicated to Spaceballs.
Well, to celebrate this piece of history now as a minimum you have to go to comb the site .. and running! indeed .. excessive speed ! that sforrrrrrzo be with you!!!!

Project Management: Collabtive!
Often when I write projects for business or for pleasure, use a paper bag to focus my ideas. I must say that for the so-called "brainstorming" is difficult to give up good old notebook, but for the schematization of the project was looking for quite some time, software, clearly open source , suitable to my needs.
And so from a research and one on sourceforge , I Collabtive . Open source, clean, attractive and efficient. Two seconds after I install it on the internal server and I am now hooked.
The project is still in its early versions, but the coaching staff is churning out a new version of the month for which I believe will soon reach maturity.
From the website you will immediately notice that the creators want to give great prominence to the "multilanguage". Being Italian is not yet supported, I have proposed as an official translator. And so, as Sockso , I was welcomed with enthusiasm. Not that I'm a great translator, but since it is purely technical projects, I think I can do the same good work.
As I said, these projects I follow , are both open source so anyone who wants to give any hints or tips about translations, is always welcome.

I finally finished migrating to new server!
lephio.org's mascot (the cacchetta of Arale!), as you can see from the photo above, has made the jump from the old server to new server hp flaming Great deals on what you bought months ago.
I will not describe all the technical features of lephioweb2, but the quantum leap from the poor K6-2 is at least embarrassing. Suffice to say that half of the investment has been virtually ram! (4GB). All web applications are already benificiando upgrade, but in addition to the blog itself, it is mainly ilforum and photo galleries to enjoy better performance. The latter, in fact, is now navigable without waiting for images to load.
From the software point of view, I could only stay with a pure debian. I then installed a fresh Debian Etch, updated, after a few seconds of indecision, the Sid repository.
The legendary lephioweb , however, has not yet retired altogether. The mailserver, and especially the delicate icecast2, which houses Radio Play.it , remain still for a little good-old-on the server.
And then .. I did not feel right not to make him the second year of life online .. :)

Sockso that you want?
ok ok .. seems an insult, but is a post dedicated to software that really struck me.
it comes to Sockso , a "Personal Music Server". It was really that I was looking for a program like this. In practice I can finally place ALL my mp3s on a 'single computer and listen freely from any location that has an internet browser.
Great for those who have their mp3 spread between 3 or 4 computers in many different places.
The shocking thing is the simplicity of Sockso though. A double click and you are already operating. Both on linux than on windows. (I think even on mac). Truly a great job, although to be truly complete will need new features.
