Coach Convention 2009 - intro

After a week of my return from Perugia, I am finally post something on what I've learned to coach convention. I think I have enough for a couple of other posts, so in the coming weeks I will share other material.

First we make some presentations. The Coach Convention is the usual event of "openness" of the Italian baseball season. Formally, is the meeting of all the Italian engineers, but the practical side is also a meeting point for the political federation. In fact, the first federal council of the year has its own during this event.

The CC, in these three years in which I participated, was always well organized . To do the indigestion baseball! Three days of continuous operations 45/60 minutes from prestigious American and Italian speakers. Both for baseball and for softball. (Two rooms)

In addition to this there is always the mythical space of "Banquet", where retailers of baseball sell their products. Some things are really cheap, but it is comfortable to the touch before buying. This for me is especially crucial for gloves and shoes. (And in fact every year I take away the Reebok offer in 15/20 euros .. hehe ..)

the dvd "baseball fan guides" produced by MLB, the card's official 24th cc, the file folder for documents, guides the fans mlb in Italian, the great coach's Agenda, the pen FIBS, the newsletter "Release Mount" of Sasso Marconi , some leaflets of Perugia, on the speech patterns of speakers and curricula, enrollment in federal summer camps, the flyer on the rules of baseball and the prestigious menu lunch / dinner for three days!

There was the shop of the academy , playoffs of branded, the macron , the cremonini clay, winner eagle and his trophies, the loud and the stamp of baseball. (I hope you did not forget anyone ..) in addition to the stand in Perugia el 'Umbria (this year but I have not seen too much local food around ..)

Finally, I wanted to talk about the 'reception. This year I took the "package" convention and I ate and slept in an excellent hotel where he had organized the event. I must say, 122 euros well spent. The registration fee of 26 euros per cnt is included, in addition to the event, the "clipboard" of DC, which always contains some interesting material (see photo of the coach's agenda is way cool). In theory there is a cap and shirt, but this year I forgot the receipt in the room and when I took the bench had already finished everything! : (
