Sockso that you want?
ok ok .. seems an insult, but it is a post dedicated to software which surprised me.
it is Sockso , a "Personal Music Server". It was really that I was looking for a program like this. In practice I can finally place ALL my mp3s on a 'single computer and listen to them freely from any location that has an Internet browser.
Great for those who have their MP3 spread between 3 or 4 computers in as many different places.
The shocking thing is the simplicity of Sockso though. A double click and you are already operating. On both Linux and Windows. (I think even on Mac). Truly a great job, though to be truly complete will need new features.
